And she sounds a LOT like her Mama - intelligent, well-spoken and quite literate!

I also loved the part about your Salinger-space in your bedroom. Great visual. I can imagine steaming cups of tea and fresh, crisp parchment and a laptop, of course. Maybe some plants and Victorian-type high-backed, padded chairs. I could go on and on. That's one of my curses; I over visualize.an oak treehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08619283043906672375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3196908370614674789.post-64171636171161628712009-03-17T22:27:00.000-04:002009-03-17T22:27:00.000-04:00My other daughter, Addie, is fourteen. My husband is the same way, although Addie tends to get a lot sicker, poor little thing. I hope Belle's allergies are less intense--for a long time, I had to bring Addie to the Emergency Room in the middle of the night for nebulizor treatments every few months : (Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13955854427063032485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3196908370614674789.post-5815971486689137532009-03-17T22:20:00.000-04:002009-03-17T22:20:00.000-04:00She's adorable! I just acquired mine and am on Claritin, weekly allergy injections, and an inhaler for the gym. My life changed overnight with the diagnosis. I'd spend winter sick, like three months straight really ill every year for the last 4 years or so. I haven't even had a cold since I've started the medication in January. It's amazing.

I'm in love with my laptop. I write my best in bed with it balanced on my knees, pillows stacked up behind me.Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09534552292410355497noreply@blogger.com
